Analisis :

Pada kalimat “so does John” diubah menjadi “so is John”. Karena jika subject nya singular (tunggal) menggunakan tobe “is”.  

7.      Mary and her sister studied biology last year, and so does Jean.

Answer :

Mary and her sister studied biology last year, and so did Jean.

Analisis :

“Mary and her sister studied biology last year” merupakan kalimat Simple Past, maka pada kalimat “so does Jean” diubah menjadi “so did Jean”.

14.  They are going to have to leave soon, and so do we.

Answer :

They are going to have to leave soon, and so are we.

Analisis :

Pada kalimat “so do we” diubah menjadi “so are we”, karena jika subject nya Plural maka menggunakan tobe “are”.

Analisis :

Pada kalimat “Marian hasn’t neither” diubah menjadi “Marian hasn’t either”, karena setelah tobe yang bernilai negatif diikuti dengan either.

Analisis :

Kalimatnya sudah benar, akan tetapi pada kalimat “neither they are” diubah menjadi “neither are they”.

Analisis :
